Review of AMADolce Bordeaux Wine Cruise Aug 5-12th

Great review! We are looking at doing our 2nd River Cruise on AMA and are interested in a wine cruise on the Rhine. This cruise sounds just as good.

Would you mind telling me about the B&B that you stayed in?

Finished reading. I am thinking that we may do this cruise instead of the Rhine.

I agree with your comparisons in all but one comment.

One thing that does seem a little different is that on a ocean cruise you get to know your cabin steward and here there wasn't the same interaction.

We got to know our room stewardess really well. She was very chatty. Always seemed to be around. ;)

Hi, Sorry that it took awhile to respond but have just returned home from a AMA river cruise. We stayed at the Au Coeur de Bordeaux B&B. It was awhile ago but remember that we enjoyed our stay, very lovely, clean and elegant. There was a safe, AC, huge walk in shower and a lovely breakfast. We liked the area as within walking distance to a lot of sights. Very steep steps to our room but our luggage was brought to our room for us. About 1/2 drive from airport and 10 minute drive to the port. Hope that helps!
