Cable Beach, Cabbage Beach, or Junkanoo?

Hi!

My best friend and I will be going to Nassau for a full day in about a week. We will be there from 8-5. We are trying to decide on a beach but we really can't decide what would be best for us. Neither of us will be swimming much, we just love the views of a beach. We are looking for a beach with bar/drink access that won't break the bank. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I visited Junkanoo Beach in August 2017. It was a quick walk from the ship and we paid $60 for 3 people for unlimited drinks and it came with deck chairs and umbrella this was from the Tiki Bikini Hut...there were activities and the drinks were very very good...

We like going to the Melia on Cable Beach. Have been to Cabbage Beach and have seen Junkanoo. Much prefer Cable.

The Melia has beach bars, big pools, and a good beach view.

There are other resorts on Cable Beach such as Breezes and Sandals.

They all have websites.

Sounds like Cable is a great but no restrooms. Deal breaker for us and our party. Been to Cabbage beach twice and its decent but just trying to find something new.

How can there be no restrooms at Melia or are you just looking for a public beach?

Melia has restrooms for guests and day pass holders. The public beach next door does not have restrooms and does not have access to the hotel amenities.

Saunders Beach, which is at the east end of Cable Beach, has restrooms, but the views are not very nice.
