La Quinta Cocoa Beach - Port Canaveral

Trying to decide on a pre-cruise hotel for 3 nights in August. We have it narrowed down to:

La Quinta Coco Beach - Port Canaveral - this is the cheapest by $100

La Quinta Coco Beach Oceanfront

Hampton In Coco Beach

Radisson at the Port

Any strong feelings either for against any of these? We will have a car so distance to things isn't an issue. We just want someplace that is clean, has a pool and includes breakfast.

Thank you

I do wonder why you picked these four? It may help to offer advise or suggestions.

Reading through pages of recent TripAdvisor reviews will be your best resource because these hotels are very busy and reviews are complete and thorough. But I understand the hesitance and trust factor!

In my opinion choosing is difficult because so much depend on your room type. Is a great room at the Radisson a better option than a ground floor room next to the elevator at Hampton Inn?

When staying 3 nights you clearly want the best possible experience and you have to think about location (Yes, you have a car but being able to walk around and explore is better), room types, amenities and costs.

If you do not mind please read these four detailed comparative descriptions of each hotel with pictures of the room types, locations, etc. It will save me hours of typing here!

We stayed at the La Quinta - Port Canaveral prior to our sailing in May, 2017. We chose it because it was by far the cheapest option. It has a pool and breakfast and the hotel was pretty clean. They allowed us to check in early.

We are pretty easy to please when it comes to hotels, so we were just fine. It is right on the main drag in Cocoa Beach, and we had a rental car, so we were able to get to places for dinner, etc. during our short stay. And it is less than 10 minutes away (and on the same street) from where we had to drop off our rental car on embarkation day. For a short stay, this hotel was a great option for us. We even had a couple drinks in the hotel bar. Not a fancy place, but good enough for us.
