We barbecue year round..;)

Go ahead....rub it in....too much snow here to leave the BBQ out :(

A 2-fer tomorrow [NA and Prinsendam] and the weather is predicted to be bad for flying in from the north, Sunday not so bad [or so they say].

Aww, we can't miss the Prinsendam. I hope she doesn't leave late at night.

Thanks Kathi for the starting the thread and the webcam team and everyone hear for sharing the fun.

Tomorrow is another day :D

Are you still bbq'ing KK? Lucky you. Ours is stored for the winter.

DH is looking for dinner so going to try to keep my eye out and finish dinner at the same time ;)

We have a gas grill -- thus we can grill year round -- even when it snows.

I am no longer to have any BBQ sauces.

Tonight was Lamb Chops -- from Australia.

Our grill is gas too, KK but I am not shovelling the dam thing out on the deck so we put. It away for the winter.

Yum on the lamb chops.

Oh my...that sounds good, KK! Lamb chops...my favorite.

We keep our grill out during the winter but rarely seem to use it. [emoji22]

Snowing in Juneau - surprising - huh? :D

Surely has been an interesting season in Alaska and in Juneau. I regularly check the Juneau web cam. Since the tourist season has ended, many days appear to have been sunny, few clouds, no rain, but with cool temperatures, as one would expect.

I check often, too. Seems to have been more sunny days lately than during the summer.;)

Joe doesn't mind cleaning off the back patio where the grill is -- especially since we have 6 bird feeders that we place food on 2 times a day -- more times if we have a big snow storm.

  • 2 weeks later...
I was trying to figure out what looked different on the pier, and it seems to me that one of the buildings is gone. I had wondered why the Serenade OTS was way behind Oostie, do you think they are doing something new on the point of the pier?

Wish we could have a zoom to watch for the little white trucks!!

Hi Ann; they have removed the unused/vacant old building at the end of the finger pier and have plans to build a new terminal with "jet-way" gangways there
