Hi Fellow Critics,

Quick Question..

I've done a few "Pack and Play" Casino Offers in the past. I always felt those were a great value for the money. We are doing our First Premier Casino Cruise, This New Years Eve on the Dream..Anything Good to know about these promotional cruises ? I know they give a few hundred back as casino cash back . Anything else as far as perks or suprises go ? Thanks For your time. 73 days till Happy New Years 🎉🎊🎆🎇🎉😀🍺!

Our last 12 cruises have been either a Premier cruise or a Bounce-Back cruise. The amount of cash that you receive with your Premier cruise depends on your play and/or your offer. I received a "Free interior Cabin" and no cash. Hubby's offer was for a discounted cabin and $600 in cash. So of course, we took the free cabin. We just got off the Breeze on Sunday.

My best tip is to set an alarm on your phone for each of the Premier Events, or at least for the ones that you know you want to be there for. One Sea Day there were 4 events. (Our snowball raffle last week got close to $2,000), so it is the one that I always made a point to be in the casino for, just in case they called my name... but they never did.

We always go to the Premier Party get-together since it is after the muster drill and before the casino opens. Free drinks and snacks - so why not? They used to hand out your "Drinks on Us" cards in the party but now they are already in your room (no more standing in line for them). But years ago, on our first Premier cruise, I still remember reading the "small print" to my hubby (either he didn't have his readers or needed them but didn't carry them back then). He had no idea that he would also receive the "Drinks on Us" card). It used to say something similar to this: "Display this card to enjoy complimentary casino menu beverages while playing in the casino throughout the remainder of your cruise." He looked me square in the eyes and replied, "Oh No! Well honey, I just want to apologize NOW for whatever I say or do to upset or embarrass you this trip"! LMAO!

We booked the Breeze again with my Bounce-Back offer - so we are sailing again this Year! I received a Free Balcony cabin this time. And we have always been told there is No CASH with bounce-back offers. But we had also always heard, you will not get a Free room offer if you already have another cruise booked. Back in May on the Vista - that myth was debunked! :D

Enjoy your cruise and Win Big! clear.png?emoji-beer-toast-613

If I may ask, how much cash are you playing and for how many hours per day to get rated and receive the comp cruise offers?

I've played in traditional casinos to get rated and comps but usually don't play while cruising except for hold'em.

You will receive a "Drinks on Us" card for free drinks while gambling. It should be waiting for you in your cabin on embarkation day. You'll receive a Player's Club gift in your cabin some time during the week. You'll have Premier check-in (expedited boarding). Look for the Premier check-in signs in the terminal.

Also, according to Carnival:

"New in 2018: Join us on a Premier cruise between December 1, 2017 and April 30, 2018, and you'll be qualified for an invite-only Fall 2018 Ultra Premier cruise. BONUS: Earn 7,500 points in the casino on one of these Premier cruises, and you'll receive first access to book one of our Fall 2018 Ultra Premier cruises."

I'm looking forward to the Dream Premier NYE cruise too. Enjoy your Premier cruise!

Carnival treats its Premier Cruise guests very nicely....my other half received $900 in cash .....you receive the drinks on us card immediately (for the person only who earned it not his/her guest), we receive nice beach towels to take home, goodies such as cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, wine, mini pastries in our cabins at night....we received tumblers each, lanyards along with a few other items which I cannot recall. They have raffles, although I must say we went to every one and never won one....but I do have to admit, the table stakes are raised higher and the slots are set much tighter and there be a lot more people in the casino on these cruise. Although we had a wonderful experience with ours, it was the first cruise knock on wood, that my other half didn't win and he only plays slots, we won't take another premier cruise again, but many people enjoy them and it is nice that Carnival casino offers these and treats its guests nicely.

I am going to finally take one that RC offers, would love to compare...I am unsure whether when your on a premier cruise if you would get another comp cruise, although I have to say my other half should of received one and didn't, but on RC you can keep getting them as long as you accumulate the points needed and according to how many points you have decides whether you get an interior, outside or balcony cabin, we are going on the Oasis next weekend in a balcony cabin...Carnival only offers the interior but perhaps your able to pay some money and upgrade the cabin?

Both people in the cabin get the drinks on us card.

I'll answer a couple of other things you mentioned Cruisegirl6, at least based on my experience.

You can get free cruises off a premier cruise. We went on a premier in January in which we both ended up getting free cruises. Took that in June on a regular family cruise and both ended up getting free cruises again which we are taking a week from tomorrow. You are able to upgrade and pay the difference but you have to do it while the offer is still valid. So, if you have one that gives you 14 days to book and you want to upgrade you have to do it during that 14 days. At least that's what I was told by Carnival when I tried to upgrade our upcoming cruise.

You and guest get the drinks on us card...always have. Last one we did was last month. In my opinion they are over inviting lately and it is very difficult to get on certain table games, video poker machines and the more popular slots.

Cheers, good luck and have fun.

I hope your husband collected his $600. My Premier cruises are for a free interior plus a couple hundred cash. My husbands is for reduced rates and a couple hundred cash. We book under my offer, but we both collect the cash.

We are going on our 4th Premier Cruise in February. On one of the previous cruises the crowd in the casino was crazy (like so crowded that you were afraid to get off a slot you liked because you may not be able to get on another) & getting a drink was almost impossible even though we tip at least $ 2 everytime - sometimes $5. Thankfully that wasn't the case on the first Premier cruise we took, or I would never have taken advantage of the offer again.

You can expect larger than normal crowds in the casino and remember that the vast majority of the people in the casino have the Drinks on Us card, so you need to be really patient with the poor waiters. The last cruise we actually bought the Drink Package and went to the bar ourselves to order rather than ordering through the waiters.

I have enjoyed 2 out of the 3 Premier cruises we've taken and plan to have a blast in February.
