I've seen this thread on another forum but when I search, don't see any here.

TWO more days for me. 1st on princess (regal) the time is not going fast enough! :p

i had a specific time frame to cruise and this fit in and i'm looking forward to the princess experience. cheap cases of water, cheap soda pack that includes mocktails, free movies in the room, 1st run MUTS, int'l cafe and allegedly a superior buffet. must test over and over to verify this! also looking forward to interior comfort during bad weather. on the only ever ship i've been on, rainy days really stank because there was no real place to sit around inside the ship.

Not a lot of interior space to sit on rainy days. The Piazza area gets very crowded, as does the Wheelhouse Bar. There are seats in and around Crooner's on deck 7. If you are in a full suite there is the concierge Lounge, lots of space there. Even on rainy days there are outside covered areas, The Horizon Terrace and a section of tables and chairs just forward of the Horizon Bistro.

Like omelettes? The made to order omelette station is on the most aft serving island of the Horizon Ct.. Order you omelette, take your order card with you, find your seat, give the order card to the waiter and the waiter will retrieve and deliver your omelette.

Luckyinpa, we are on the same sailing as you in two days!!! :D

Haven't packed yet, but we've been away enough times to know what is needed. I also made a list of what to pack for reference for all trips.

I check the weather every day for Halifax and St. John and this morning there was no mention of rain for Monday or Tuesday. Temps in the 60's, good for sightseeing without breaking a sweat. Might be raining on our Wednesday sea day. Good time to catch up on reading, Casino games and people watching.

See you on board!

ty I had not read about the omelette station in my research. Also will be weird having someone bring my drink in the buffet, always had to get them for myself

In all the buffet seating areas including all the outside tables buffet waiters will bring you coffee, tea, ice tea, lemonade, hot chocolate, juices in the morning and also any pay beverage you may want. They even have some bottles of wine. Tables are also set with silverware or I guess I should say stainlessware. If you wish to self serve coffee, tea, ice tea, hot chocolate you can do it. There are self serve centers all around. Coffee on the Regal is made from grounds, pretty good.

This is also true to some extent in the International Cafe area. There are waiters there that can take your espresso drink order. You don't have to go to the counter if you don't want to.
