New to NCL - Sailing on Escape 2/4/17

Hello everyone. I am new to cruise critic and wanted a general rundown on Norwegian as a cruise line and the ship I'm sailing on the Escape. I'm in my thirtys and am traveling with my wife. Any tips for couples who will be doing a lot of bar hopping on the ship and a little romance time.

I have only been on Carnival and was not happy with the experience at all. I hope this will be a lot more enjoyable.

Check in to the roll call forums for your cruise line/date. That will put you in contact with others cruising with you.

A lot of passengers have the unlimited beverage package so you'll have company at the bars....

but they don't get too crowded, it's easy to get a drink.

The live music is very good on NCL. Be sure to check out the dueling pianos.

There is an adult only area on the sundeck in the back of the ship.

Make restaurant reservations before you board.

Check out the excursions, some of the more popular ones book up quickly.
