Prinsendam C cabins?

Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with the main deck "C" cabins on Prinsendam? Especially the ones with showers instead of tubs? Are the showers only smaller? Less comfortable?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't stayed in those cabins but I have visited several.

The "shower only" rooms are slightly smaller than the ones with tub & shower combined. Take a look at the deck plans and you will see the difference.

JMO but I would be concerned if I were under the Ocean Bar/Casino and an early/light sleeper. Later, I wouldn't be concerned about. I also wouldn't want to be under the kitchen for the dining room (on the deck above) so a careful look at the deck plans is in order IMO.

There are a fair number of pictures on halfacts dot com as well as some comments. Don't worry about when the pictures were taken as other than soft goods, the original Prinsendam cabins have retained their configurations.

Hope this helps a bit.

Just a year ago I was in a C cabin on main deck with shower only. I loved it. No climbing in and out since I don't take baths anyway. Both my husband and myself did not find the shower uncomfortably small and we totally enjoyed our 14 day cruise on her. We also did not hear any noise from above (we were mid ship) and if we were to sail her again we would book similar cabins. Unfortunately we were booked in Oct 2019 but with her being sold we are sailing on the Rotterdam instead.
