$6500 on $5 slot bet on RCCL. We are now Blue Chip Club VIP on Celebrity and take a free cruise every year. All we pay is port fees and taxes. Free drinks in casino bar as well.

It was fortunate that you were playing MAX BET !! :D

Being a Blue Chip Club member definitely has its perks. We managed a $3,700 discount (20% of cruise rate) on our Equinox sailing this coming March. Can't beat that... well, we'll see if we can beat that - still waiting on word of my cash rebate on that sailing, owing to our Constellation sailing last week.

Yes , we're on Infinity for an 11 night Pacific Coastal in May and it only cost about $500 for the two of us. I usually get between $500 to $750 in casino rebate each trip. My wife, not so much. RCCL canceled their VIP club and took away my $750 rebate last year so we stick with Celebrity.

Just curious as to the reason that RCCL took away your $750 rebate.

IF there was a Non-smoking area on Escape? I never found it.

Seemed Very smokey Everywhere. Its a shame.

And since the Opening to the other floors is in the middle of the Casino.....

If you are dining Floor below casino, like LeBistro.... (we ate there twice on their sidewalk area) You smell smoke there too....

And you get lots of smokers that aren't playing....just standing, watching and smoking inside. That happens alot. I had a steady stream of smokers standing behind me, smoking, not playing, every night. Or they sit at a machine, Not playing, just smoking.....

That casino is NOT setup for smoking inside. The smell just permeates 2-3 floors. Its too bad. You'll see.....

Very strange streak of luck, entered a "max" bet on a penny slot machine ($1.50), and hit all five diamonds!! I felt a little guilty, because the people we were with won nothing through the whole cruise and were big-time gamblers, and I sat down after giving everyone first choice of a machine and hit that darned thing after about the second bet!! We took the group we were with to the steak house and paid for their drinks and meal as a "consolation", leaving with a full and happy group!! Mind you, the casino fellow (not telling on him, I think he wasn't supposed to say!) I was talking to later (in private), told me that it was the FIRST time he had ever seen one of those machines hit the top prize in the six years he'd been working various casinos!! That was on the Star Princess to Hawaii, and getting those lovely US $100 bills with no tax (we are Canadian!!) with our dollar being so low right now was a lovely treat. It paid for my next three cruises......plus they kept making offers to cut our rate if we booked by a certain percentage, I started getting messages from their gambling center after that, but I'd rather just spend that money on their cheaper rooms with the discount, thanks, and not gamble!! My one and only win, I don't normally gamble much......and probably won't any more! We know that a slot win is a once in a lifetime streak!!

Didn't ask just took it.

Same thing here.. you can see the dealer's hand waving across the table while she said "no photos". BTW dealer was showing a 5 or 6 and I lost it ALL, with doubles on a couple of those hands as well. This started as a single hand, but when I got the 5th seven, I knew it was a photo op !!

One of the funniest stories I have heard about blackjack was when Foxwoods casino first opened they were only going to be open 18 hours a day. But it filled up and they couldn't close. So with all those extra people they were trying to figure out how to get more money. SOthey allowed that if you were standing behind a blackjack player you could bet on him before the hand was dealt. Some kid was playing for $10 a hand and a big better behind him put a thousand on his next hand. He drew a 20 and the dealer had a 6 up. The dealer asked the kid what he wanted to do and he said "For a hundred dollars I won't take a hit".

I also have a pic of the dealer and the next day they took my pic with the Captain and several other staff. I still have not received any special casino perks.

Got off a 31-day trip on Princess Star earlier this month. In the first four days of the cruise I won 3 $2,000 video poker/deuces wild jackpots on three different machines. Crazy. Most of that went back into the machines over the next 27 days BUT two nights before the cruise ended, I won a video poker $8000 jackpot. So paid off the bar/massage/excursion tab of $3K and netted $5K. Timing is everything!

Sat down to $10 BJ on Carnival Paradise with $100.

Second hand I push, dealer pays me anyway.

Things don't go well and I'm eventually down to my last $10.

I go on a tear, build my bank up to $200 and walk away.

Sit down again later that night, doubled that $200 and get up.

Sit down a third time, win another $200.

So I'm up $500 on the first night. Without a doubt my best night.

Ended up giving back $395 of it over the stretch of the cruise, but it was fun playing with house money the rest of the way. Even tried out Ultimate Texas Hold Em which was fun. Guy sitting next to me hit a straight flush.

Hoping the many hours spent at the tables gets me a nice offer for the next time. Wanted that more than the $$$.

i don't think they cancelled their VIP club as they signed me up on my 4th day and i got the VIP sticker on my seapass card last cruise that i took in February 2016 and they gave me a free cruise on the last night and i had $275 applied to another cruise through Club Royale for next year.

Most I've ever won at a ship's casino (and also ANY casino) was on the Norwegian Getaway in January this year. I was waiting for my round of the slot tournament, and had about 15 minutes to waste. I sat down at a Quick Hits bank of penny slots right next to the tournament machines and promptly got a bonus during which I won $3000 thanks to a whole lot of quick hit symbols. I then went on to win my round of the slot tournament, and earned the good-natured animosity of everyone in the casino. :D Unfortunately, I ended up placing 2nd in the overall slot tournament (by less than 80 points!) - but I was perfectly fine with that! :)
