On Harmony in St Maarten quick question

We just pulled into St Maarten should we take passports off the ship with us? I asked on my review thread also but need a quick answer Thanks

No. Make sure you take your drivers license as you will need it to get back into the port with your ship card.

Do you "have" to? No

Can you? ...Yes

But you do need a photo ID (license)

Too late for the OP, but they do look at picture IDs to get on the pier and we only had one ship in last week. Tip the musicians there - they need the cash on the island.

Yes, time of year not as many ships there. I remember days when many as 7 went there before they had a Pier, they built one and a Hurricane 20 years ago took it out. They always come back better, but sure that is due to Tourism $$$...
