Do days equal nights?

We booked a 6 night cruise; is that considered a 6 day cruise or a 7 day cruise for purchasing purposes such as Cheers or other per day expenses?

Carnival speaks in days and they include the embark day, but not the debark day. So you pay for the day you get on the boat and every day except the day you get off.

Unless it is a Cruise out of NY or Texas then you can not buy a drink package for Embarkation Day.

Cheers was an example of a per day purchase.

lets see i am on a 4 day cruise in august-- that is how it is being marketed I get on Sunday Off on Thursday.

reality is its a 4 NIGHT cruise and a 5 day cruise

You pay per night. 7 day cruise = 7 nights on ship.

In theory; however, they don't count debarkation day because you are there for such a short period of time.

Ah...it was both. They wanted to know how many days they would be charged for a 6 night cruise if they bought Cheers or any other per day expenses.

Lol, such a simple question,but yet we still got an argument out of it.
