Does anyone know the present status of Dawn Beach?

I read that Dawn Beach was hit hard by the two hurricanes and Mr. Busby's restaurant and Bar was destroyed.

This was my favorite beach and beach bar in St. Marteen and I had going there on my cruises for the last 10 years.

Any word on the rebuilding?

Mr Busby's is gone and many other restaurants there (Big Fish, Canoa, etc.) are closed. The Infinity restaurant at Oyster Bay Beach Resort is open as well as Mama's Pizza on the other side of the Marina.

Lots of rumors about rebuilding but no one knows for sure. A section of OBBR will open June 1st. The Westin is totally gutted

The beach itself from recent pictures I have see still looks pretty rough and I do not thin anyone is renting chairs and umbrellas right now.

That is terrible news...it is so sad.

Hopefully, the beach can be restored and even if Mr. Busby's could reopen as a small beach bar would be nice.

I would like to go there on my January cruise and spend my $$ at one of my favorite spots in the Caribbean.
