Ovation of the Seas - 12 Night NZ, New Years Cruise - Dec 2017 - Documentation

Recommended Posts

Thanks much for taking precious time to post all the detailed info! Much appreciated. Looking forward to your review. We're considering taking the 13-N New Zealand sailing from Sydney in March 2019, prior to a chartered jazz cruise later that month. Have sailed several times each on Ovation's sister ships - Quantum and Anthem from Cape Liberty (Bayonne NJ) and enjoyed the ships.

Thank you for your comment. The scenery around NZ is stunning. With that and the ship itself, I am sure you will have a great time.

Teen Cruise Compass.

There should have been a second one for the last half of the cruise, we either didn't get it, or threw it out. As the kids did zero ship organised activities, I can't give any comment on how well these were run.

We did Chef's Table one night. Here is the menu. It was a slim card that slips inside the black folder next to it (if that makes sense. They also gave you the recipe for one of the menu items. It doesn't say for how many people this makes, but with 3kg (about 6.6lbs) of cauliflower, it isn't going to be for your normal average family dinner.

We did a ship shore excursion in Dunedin, going out in the harbour to see some native wildlife. This was what they gave you on the tour to help identify the various wildlife. It was available in numerous different languages on board.
