Paying for Bingo on Balmoral

Recommended Posts

I'm going on my first trip on Balmoral on Wednesday and we usually play bingo.

Previously you needed cash but last year on the Black Watch they used your on board account to pay because of the risk of nova virus with handling notes.

Will I need cash for bingo on Balmoral or will it be via the on board account?

If I need cash I shall have to visit an ATM as I normally pay for everything on a credit card.

Cruises on Fred this year on Boudicca, they charged your onboard account for bingo and paid out the prize money directly into same account. Dolphin racing and filmed dog/pig racing was cash. Pound coins best.

As a regular on FOCL ships I was surprised that people still play bingo.

Yes, it is very popular on all ships. (We cruise on lots of different lines). It is very expensive on American ships, but they still get a very big turnout for it.
