I loved your review on the MSC Divina.... I also was on the ship this past December, and i am going on her again October 4th of this year... This time i have a balcony cabin on Deck 11 cabin number 11151.... this is a B2 category...will my cabin be basically set up like yours? Also did your cabin have a sofa or chair with table? Reason i am asking is when i went on her in December i had a Cat. 2 Inside room... my friend had a Cat. 1 inside room...and the demensions on her cabin were larger than mine....she had a chair and table....where as mine it had nothing.... definitely her room was larger than mine...and i paid a higher price than she... was talking to some people across the hall from me, they told me even though they have a balcony cabin that their room was small also with no sofa or chair or table in it... Do you happen to know the difference in all of the categories....and also my cabin 11151 is this considered mid ship?

Thank you for the amazing review! I have an odd question, do you remember how much the Nutella Crepes were?

My daughter says they were between $3-$4 but she couldn't remember, she did say that if you went to the teen club the first night they gave you a little welcome aboard pkt that included a coupon for a free Nutella crepe...

My kids were in what use to be considered a cat 3 inside that is now a cat 2 they had a chair and a table in theirs, as for your balcony room 11151, it is a full size balcony that should have a sofa and table, you have to look at the ships diagram as all B2 balconies do not have the sofa setup....but yours does....happy cruising!

I put off reading this thread because I thought it would be too long and sort of boring. Boy, was I wrong. It was fascinating and the thread ended up being too short. I want more.

I can't wait to take my DW on the Divina and I just got off a cruise ship on sunday. She will LOVE this ship which will make me very happy.

Plus, I noticed Yuengling on the beer menu which we can not get in Texas. My brother and BIL will be very jealous.

Thanks SteelCruisin......AWESOME job!!!!

Hi SteelCruisin! First of all your post is amaizing!!! I´m looking foward to sail with the Divina on August, and here in my ****ry (Argentina) I didn´t find a lot of information about cat. 6 balcony, which is the cabin that I booked. I wanted to ask you if it has a mini bar, as I didn´t see one in the stateroom photos you attach in your review. Hope U can help me! Thanks a lot :)

It seems that not all packages are available on all sailings which leads to a lot of confusion. Although they appear in the listing for Caribbean sailings, I don't have options to buy the "Cheers" or "Doremi" package and the soda package (which is not that great of a deal to begin with - 14 cans/$30) is only available to adults, not children.

I thought the same, but called MSC customer service to check. The rep I spoke to said the packages don't all show up because the web site is buggy. She was able to book the Doremi and a spa package that I wanted. Neither were showing up as available to book on the web site for our sailing, but were on the Caribbean sailings listing. The only downside is that I had to pay with my cc right then, so spending won't count toward MSC club points, as I understand it.

One question about your connecting balconies-were you able to open the door between the balconies so you could make the two into one? My family likes to do it when possible because it is a great way to hang out together.

Glad you enjoyed, we will be taking our 2nd MSC cruise this Thanksgiving, can't wait to see how much, if any, my opinions have changed.

Please write another review. We'll sail on Divina in April - our first MSC cruise. We mostly sailed on Oceania before, so we have mixed expectations. Enjoyed your review and got very excited now to try cruise "Italian" way.
