Transport from EWR to Manhatten Hotel- expert advice please

As far as I know you have to quote each one individually.

 

Be sure you understand the quote. Car services quote a base rate. To that add tolls plus a tip of 18-20% on the base rate. I don't know how Uber and Lyft handle tolls. Their base rate is supposed to include tip.

 

With interstate trips Uber and Lyft from NJ might be out of their comfort zone and have no way of getting return trips if they're not approved for both NY and NJ pickups. Dial 7 and Carmellimo are licensed in NJ, NY, and CT, have a large fleet, and are accustomed to doing interstate transport.

I think the tipping has changed, you can add a tip through the app.

UPDATE:

* Thank you all for the great information! We were able to book the "Courtyard by Marriott Times Square West for 2 "Seniors" on Friday, September 21 for $239.00 plus taxes and fees for $277.75. There is no "Residence Fee, "Amenities Fee", or Facilities Fee" that will be tacked on at checkout

* We will take the Airtrain/ NJ Transit train from EWR to get to said hotel

* We will book Dial7 for transfer to Brooklyn Port for us, DS and BIL

* We have booked Princess transfer to return to EWR
