Liberty in Grand Cayman

I have always booked excisions privately, not through the ship. However, I have seen several posts about the length of time that it takes to tender get off of the Liberty.

Anyone that has experience with this, do you think a 4.5hour excursion through a private company is doable? Would it be wiser to book through the ship?

Doable but be ready to go when they have finished calling all ship excursions and/or have a slightly later time for starting excursion
