Oasis of the Seas guide dog relief box

Recommended Posts

My wife is visually impaired and has a guide dog. Last year we took the dog on a cruise on the Majesty of the Seas and it went well. The "potty box" was located on the outside running track near the back of the boat. It was about 4ft square and filled with mulch. We are looking at booking a cruise on Oasis of the Seas and would like to get a room near the relief box for the dog. We asked Royal Caribbean for the location, but they only said that it is probably on deck 4 or 5. Has anybody been on Oasis of the Seas and noticed where they put the service dog relief box?

This is on Harmony: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=55187023&postcount=42

Harmony and Oasis are in the same class of ships, so there is a good chance that this will be the same on Oasis.

And welcome to Cruise Critic.

Welcome to Cruise Critic and very happy that you are able to travel with your wife's dog.

You mentioned asking RC - assume that you asked Special Needs and not just regular agent. Would think they would have all the appropriate information about traveling with a service animal (a true service animal - but that's another topic!).

Also suggest posting on the board for disabled cruisers - someone there might have an answer for you.
