Taxi to beach??

Hello everyone! We have been to San Juan and have done various tours. Would it be possible for us to get off the ship and take a taxi to a beach which has umbrellas, chairs (to rent) and maybe some snacks/beverages for a couple of hours? Any recommendations/suggestions would be truly appreciated.
