We just finished our Solstice cruise. After reading older posts, we assumed disembarkation would be a disaster.(It wasn't) The waiting time on board was somewhat

better than before. The pier went the smoothest ever. Our baggage was easy to spot, the customs line was not bad and a cab was easy to get.

Great to hear this!! DH and I sail in a little over a week and I was getting nervous with all the horror stories!!

I was worried about this since Allure is using terminal 18 now on Sundays. Do you remember which terminals were used for embarkation/disembarkation?

I must agree. Solstice used pier 25 and they must have finally gotten it right. Very smooth on and off.

I hope you also had a great cruise. It's been interesting reading about the cruise we missed. Thank you for the good report though, because we have rebooked and will be on the Solstice in a few weeks. That is, if it would quit snowing in Minnesota!
