RCI "extras" on Sale

Recommended Posts

Gidday fellow cruisers!

Just an FYI there seem to be some specials happening on drink packages, dinner packages & excursions on the Explorer trip from Sydney departing 19th March 2018.

Hoping your similar departures are on sale too :D

Happy cruising!

Nothing on Voyager re-positioning April either :(

Maureen, can you please let me know if you see any specails on our Voyager re-positioning cruise? I try to check regularly but am afraid that I might forget and will miss it!

The package prices have dropped for our Ovation cruise leaving in January 2018.

It looks as if they reduce them about 6 months out so keep checking.

Ours is showing $63.94AUD p/p and they have the drink package plus the unlimited Speacialty dining combined for about $86AUDp/p.

I'll post on our roll call if I see any drops.

CRUISING ALONG:)

Awesome that's great to hear. As our Voyager cruise departs just over two weeks after your cruise departs, here's hoping we get a price drop in a few weeks time :)

Sorry that more AUS/NZ cruisers are not getting the specials.

I must admit I was waiting out the Black Friday sale myself but we finally caught a break.

As an aside, I couldn't get my Ultimate Drinks Package online, had to call the 0800 number, but the fellow I spoke with was very nice and simply asked why only one package. I told him hubby doesn't really drink (booze) and he processed my order.

Hubby is happy to pay for his drinks as and when he wants one :-)

DS is happy for me to pay for his Ultimate Drinks Package...

Hope y'all get some specials real soon!

I'm not sure if the refreshment package dropped.

I also noticed that the Radiance of the Seas 22 December 2017 sailing also had a slight drop in price from $66.93 AUD pp a day ( as at 21/1/17) to $65.52 AUD pp a day ( as at 13/10/17) . Not much of a drop but a saving of just over $16pp for the cruise.

Cheers

Internet Package is showing for my 19th March 2018 cruise.

ALSO...

Refreshment Package is down from $43 to $28 plus change NZD for the same trip.

Not sure if it is a weekend special, canceled the existing one I booked for DD and repurchased at the lower rate on the Cruise Planner.

Thanks for the replies re internet. I am on Voyager in Dec 2017 and they were there a couple of days ago.

I had noticed the refreshment package was down again on thursday.

About a week ago I noted that the delux + voom had been reduced from $78.12 pp/d to 75.60 pp/d and did cancel and go for newer. Based on TraceyG's and others here on CC, there is ALOT of difference on pricings per cruise over RCI.

It's not unusual for the drink packages to be much cheaper for the Asian cruises, the bars were almost empty when we did a Singapore round trip, although the casino and the shops were always packed.

Don't expect that price for an Aussie cruise. :(
