Pre-Cruise wine question

We usually stay at Embassy Suites, which has the Pueblo grocery store walking distance away. We are staying at the Sheraton (near the Pan American port) this time. Is there anywhere around the Sheraton to pick up our (actually my wife's) four bottles of wine pre-cruise? If we didnt land so late, I would have the taxi driver make a stop from the airport first, but I am pretty sure everyone's going to be looking to check in and get to bed.

Google was no help, btw, as I am not sure whether i am looking for a grocery store near the Sheraton (didnt see any) or a beer/wine/liquor store.

thanks

Just a thought.

Have you enquired as to assistance by the hotel's Concierge?

no - I can always do that when there, but if the answer is the Pueblo is the closest, then i should go on the way to the hotel from the airport on the way in, so as not to unnecessarily travel cruise morning.

PS this is for a March 31 cruise

  • 3 weeks later...

There is a CVS just down the street from the Sheraton and when the new owner's took over the Sheraton they got rid of the casino and now there's a Walgreen's. You'll be able to easily get wine at either of these store's...otherwise there's always the convenience store in the Pan American pier.
