Da nang port

Most probably Chan May.

FYI: there is nothing at the port in Chan May! DIY tours without preplanning are hardly possible. Taxis are waiting outside the port only and, of course, are able to dictate prices.

We planned all our tours in Vietnam with Anntours.com. Highly recommendable!!! We were picked up right on the pier, taken back to the gangway and had great tours.

Good news.:)

Just 15 mins to Da Nang, 30 mins to China Beach & Marble Mountain, and a further 20 mins to Hoi An.

Hi John Bull,

I have booked a tour to Hue from Da Nang, on Westerdam. How far to Hue, please?

Thanks, Libby

Sorry Libby, I have no personal experience of travel to Hue.

But from Chan May, Hue is 38 miles - google maps has it at just over an hour.

From Tien Sa, Hue is 60 miles - google maps has it at just over 2 hours. And the route passes with about 8 miles of Chan May.

Tien Sa is so much easier for China Beach, Marble Mountain & Hoi-An, but takes much longer if you want to go to Hue.

Thanks very much,

Had thought about taking a train but too risky time wise.

All the best,

Libby
