A question for Bonnie.

With today's State Department's warning to avoid going to Cuba, I'm wondering how close Azamara is with revisions to its Cuba itineraries. I'm looking at some of the November cruises.

Here's our official statement re. the Cuba travel warning:

In regards to the State Department Warning as it relates to Cuba, the statement was made regarding hotels, and nothing has as yet changed as it relates to guests traveling to Cuba via a cruise. There is no reason to believe the guest experience shore side has changed overnight; our sister brand is currently sailing there now and guests are very satisfied with their experience.

With that said, we are monitoring the situation and if anything changes we will provide an update.

Hi maybe Bonnie can get an answer for this, perhaps not. I am on the roll call for the Quest Nov 4, 2017 transatlantic. There have been a port change. We have 2 overnights in Bermuda instead of St Maarten & San Juan. Seems several have not been notified of this change. I was notified on 9/28/17 But just of the substitution but not the exact dates. I found the details by checking the calendar in the cruise planner. I posted it on the roll call. How are people not on CC or who don't check the calendar or the Azamara website find out? I know some were properly notified but some were not.

Denise, I finally had my official notification yesterday from my ta and it was dated last Friday, 29th September so the weekend in between had slowed it down. It had all the changes on it.

Pitbull: Bonnie, I thought you meant President Trump! :o Had to look it up. Guess I don't follow pop culture closely enough!

That made me laugh. It was actually rabin1 who told us about Pittbull's generosity sending his private plane to help out; I hardly follow pop culture either.

Just received this update from Azamara. This update reflected their current itinerary plan as of 10/3ca0c87050273af7bb6124a9bc494e8da.jpg

This is the correct revision. Re December 8, we are substituting a full day in St. Thomas instead of the short morning call in Antigua.

What's more, at Antigua we would have been at an anchorage away from the main docks which would make for an even shorter half day call.

As rabin1(Kathy) points out, we've added a page on our website showing the 2017 Caribbean port-of-call changes, before & after, due to the hurricane damages. Here's the link: https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/int/itinerary-updates#sailings-to-caribbean

There is also a banner at the top of our homepage with the link. https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/int
