They are all very similar with Epic being the smallest of the three and Escape being the biggest. Bigger ships have more restaurants, bars, activities, etc but people say they feel more crowded. My advice is to choose your cruise based on itinerary/date and then also avoid dates when children won't be in school (summer, between xmas/new years/march-[spring break]/week of president's day [winter break]).

What is the main different options between the Escape , Breakaway and Epic ?

 

We are a couple in their 50s and want to best ship for our age...

Hated the Epic! We sailed when she was new and the S shaped rooms were not comfortable, I think they went more for aesthetics more than comfort. You literally walk through the bathroom when entering your room from the entrance door! Toilet is on one side of the aisle and sink is on the other. Don't answer the door when someone is on the toilet. lol Did not like a rounded bed either.
