"Angle" balcony rooms on Breakaway

Does anyone have any pics of the balcony rooms on the Breakaway with the "angled" balcony?

Trying to book a cruise on the Getaway for a year from now and debating between a Mini-suite and the balcony with the angle - which are supposed to be bigger I guess.

If you can't post here - you could e-mail to rstackjd "at" gmail.

(I've checked Cruise Deck Plans and there's no pics of those rooms posted)

Thanks

Bob

I have one on my phone but I have no clue how to post it here.

If you go to cruisewithgambee.com you can find a ton of pics there.

Hope that helps.

Is there a way to search on Gambee for those cabin types?

We booked one of the angled balcony rooms on the Getaway because they are definitely bigger but for the same price as any other balcony room. Unfortunately, I can't remember where we saw pics and read about this! I also liked that it was right by the elevators and stairs. Noise isn't an issue for me, so I prefer the convenience of that location.

Thanks - cool spreadsheet!

I know which ones have the angled balcs, just couldn't find pics. That helped!

Click on visual aid link for BA and see slides 11 - 17.

Slide 10 indicates which categories have angled balconies.

Bob: I wish I could offer better photos, but this is all I have. :(

This is Norwegian Breakaway cabin 11782, with an angled balcony, as seen from the side, and then the full bank of angled balconies seen from a distance. I hope it can assist in any small way.

Someone posted this link to a photo of a Breakaway angled balcony in another thread:

We're booked in an angled balcony on the Getaway this April :) It definitely looks roomier than the standard balcony!

We have a forward facing angled balcony on the Breakaway. Does anyone know if this balcony will be usable while at sea? I've been reading some comments that the wind is bad on the forward facing ones. I'm just wondering if I should switch cabins...

Thanks for any help! :)

Chesneygirl, I hope they aren't that windy. We have one on the BA this summer sailing to Bermuda.

When are you sailing? Is this the one you won?

Happy Sailing!

I think that I may be in the same cabin that you have booked for your cruise. I read one of your posts on another thread about it. :)

This is not the cruise that I won although I tried to have it applied. NCL said it has to be a Caribbean cruise. So I think we are going to look at something in the fall.

This April cruise will be myself and my daughter in the balcony room and I have 2 studios booked as well for my mother in law and her sister. It's just girls this time around.

So make sure to be on the look out for another video at the end of April! and as long as I keep my balcony cabin, I will make sure to include some video footage of it as well :D

SWEET!

Have fun on your girl's cruise!! Take some really great video :)

Treat the cabin well, it's our turn in 128 days ;)

Happy Cruising!

I thought those were handicapped rooms.

No. On the deck plans, I've never seen any designated as handicapped. The cabin itself is identical to the rest of the balcony cabins. It's the actual balcony that is larger.

How much 'bigger' are the angled balconies?

Why book angled balcony?

They are located on Breakaway, Getaway and Escape. They are the same price as standard balconies, but approximately 50% larger. They are located on all decks along the sides where the ship "bumps out" a bit.

Here are some googled images.

thats the exact balcony in the pic above that i am looking at booking 11782 ( pic is of Breakaway , I am sailing on Getaway )

Yeah, and the exact same pictures were posted earlier in this thread, but I reposted anyway.

To me, having sailed in an angled balcony and having 2 more booked, it's a no-brainer. If one is available, why wouldn't you take it? :)

I've been booked on the angled balcony for my upcoming cruise.

I just wanted to know how much bigger and more enjoyable it was

to a regular balcony.

I've looked at the pics that were posted and can not figure it out.

I try different cabins all the time. Was just curious to this one.

Thanks.
