Hello,

We are sailing on the Breeze at the end of September 2018. Have we already missed the boat to be able to purchase the FTTF excursion? It says it is sold out, but I was hoping that it just hadn't been opened to purchase yet...

Thanks for any information or thoughts :)

My last cruise FTTF became available less than a week from sailing. I can almost guarantee that it will become available at a closer date. As the ship fills up they will know how many priority passengers are booked and make available FTTF any extra priority spots.

It helps if your an early riser. I have always been able to snag it at 0400 (checking every day) when most people are in bed still.

Good Luck.

Thanks AR Patriot,

I will keep trying back,... especially in the am. I am a diabetic and travel with insulin, other meds, and a walker. It would be great to have early room access to store my meds. (that I carry on) and put my insulin in the fridge before exploring the ship. :)

The ship has sailed for the initial surge of FTTF openings. They have all been sold out. (Currently, spring 2019 FTTF is about to be released).. However like others have said, they will release a few openings here and there between now and then. Just keep in mind while you're watching for them, so are a ton of other people. They may open say 10 slots and they could be sold out within an hour. It depends on how many they open and how many people are still looking to buy it.

Just be persistent and keep checking.

If you aren't able to obtain the fttf your best bet is to arrive around 2:30. The line will be down and you will almost go straight to your room. Mark yourself as special assistance so that you can get a wheelchair right when you get in the door. This will take you to the priority line, and they will push you up and onto the ship. It's a long walk. The breeze gets crazy busy from the start. If you don't want to get there so late, get there before 1030, and you will be put in the early line. Anything after 1100 will be crazy up until about 2:00.

If you get fttf go at your leisure, regardless of your check in time.

While I have no personal experience with this, I have read numerous people state that special assistance no longer gets priority treatment. They sometimes go at the end after everyone else. Just a heads up.

They are not considered priority, true. However they do send them through the priority line. This will get them through check in, guest services to open account or name changes, etc.. The wait, if the op goes early, will be upstairs waiting for their zone to be called. They will bring a wheelchair back and tAke you up from there when your zone is called. If they go at 230, they will more than likely not stop moving until they get onboard.

Thanks for mentioning that!

  • 1 month later...

I just managed to get a FTTF pass with only about 2 months to sail time. It was sold out but I checked everyday every chance I was near the computer. I have gotten a FTTF pass for every cruise. I am a night owl so I seem to have good luck in the wee hours of the night! This time I saw it was available around 130 am. I bought it immediately and just out of curiosity I checked back at 330 am and it was sold out again. So just keep checking!

Are you on the Sept 16 repo? If so, that is a Casino Premier cruise as well as a Journeys cruise. With all the Platinum, Diamond and Casino Premier people on board, it is unlikely that there will be any FTTF added at this point.

We cruise in August and FTTF is sold out too. My PVP said that some usually become available close to the pay if full date because people cancel. Good luck!

I got lucky! FTTF became available last night at 7:30pm and I was able to snag it. Only 1 slot was available. So don't give up, just keep trying multiple times a day. Good Luck!

We cruise in 383 days (I know, who's counting, right?) and our FTTF finally was released for sale about a month ago... funny enough, it's still available! I don't know if that's normal this far out from a cruise since I've never booked this early before... we're on Vista for Jun 15 btw...

Oh and something else I found out- if you have a Carnival MasterCard and pay for FTTF with it, you get a 10% discount! I knew that applied to excursions but I didn't think that applied to FTTF! Score!
