We also stay in the F-3** WS. Room location is fabu, right in the middle of everything, with nothing too far away.

The short walk directly from the rooms to the CC dining is easy and the no waiting is a treasure. I've also enjoyed the extra offerings almost every night.

ENJOY!

Thank you. First time with the suite life and I plan to take advantage of every perk.

Same for us ... always getting more info just by reading these posts. You wouldn't by chance be on the sailing that sails in 9 days, would you??

Anyhow, spoiling ourselves with this sailing in a WS ... may be the last time as I am a bargain traveler. This was the only cruise I've seen where the WS fit into my budget.

For those who have sailed in the WS cabins on the Grand before, is it a noisy area? Trying to decide between a WS and Mini-Suite for an upcoming cruise. Also, is there a lot of smoke in the area due to the casino and cigar lounge nearby? Thanks!

On the Caribbean Princess, you are inside a separate hallway. There is essentially no noise and no smoke from the cigar lounge. It is almost like you have your own private area. No one has reason to be in that hall except the people who are staying in those suites and the steward or other delivery people.

The only issue is that they take formal night photos right outside the aft door to the area. On those nights, we had to be careful to not walk right into their lights as we walked out the door and to not disturb the people posing for photos. This typically took only a few seconds till we had a clear walkway.

We have sailed in WS 301 and 311. There was never any noise except for runners overhead. If the door to the hallway across from Churchill’s is propped open, there is smoke near 301. I would shut the door whenever I saw it open. No smoke near 311.

I never saw it open except when someone was walking thru it. Yes, I'd definitely want to keep it closed.

Will do Suekel. The countdown is on ... only 4 days to go. Yooohoooo!

Never say never, but I am sure this will be our one and only time in a full suite .... so we intend to take advantage of every little perk they offer.
