Floating Marketplace

We are taking a tour of the island and the guide suggested stopping at the floating marketplace. Has anyone been there and is it worth the time? Also has anyone been to Boka tabla Cave, (natural underwater cave)?

The floating market is great. Don't miss it. :)

It is within walking distance of the swinging bridge ( a few minutes walk going "inland" along the "canal" on the Punda side)

I love to buy the little tiny bananas that they sell there. VERY sweet and yummy. The vendors come from Venezuela.

Interesting to see and not expensive to buy a good, fresh snack.

Boca Table cave is nice but not exceptionally impressive if you have seen other underwater caves. It is rather basic in my humble opinion.

I agree, Floating Market is ok, but I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time there. It's basically a lot of fruit and veggy markets in front of schooners from South America. I went to the little bridge past it and took a picture of the schooners on the water.

We never made it to Boca Tabla as planned, so can't comment on that.
