Thanks for posting the picture. We had to miss that port on our cruise because of weather. Now I can see what we missed. Oh well an excuse to take another cruise.

Thank you for the picture showing that docking at Horta can be done. On our April, 2017 transatlantic on the Zuiderdam, we could not dock at Horta because of the high winds. Hopefully we will be able to stop in Horta on our transatlantic on the K'Dam in April, 2018.

HEY...we were on the same cruise!

Although stormy, all of the Azore islands looked beautiful and peaceful.

Punta Del Gado turned out to be a great city as well.
