In terms of doing this specific cruise I would post on the dedicated P&O Cruise Line Board at:

For questions about d day landing beaches and tours you can also post on the France Ports Of Call Board at:

I can heartily recommend Overlord Tours for tours of the Normandy beaches: https://www.overlordtour.com/.

100% agree! It will be way cheaper than the ship's cost and better since it's a smaller group. If you find the roll call for your cruise, you can usually find some other people to go in your group and split the cost. They usually charge for I think 8-10 people, I can't remember. But we had 8 people in our group, so we just divided it by 8 and still saved about $200!

I wrote up about our day in Normandy in my cruise report. It's not the same line, but it's the same place you want to go.
