We are looking to do the 3 night cruise to p&o Cherbourg and Le Havre with a view doing excursions to the d day landing beaches. Has anyone done this cruise and what e xcursions did you do.

100% agree! It will be way cheaper than the ship's cost and better since it's a smaller group. If you find the roll call for your cruise, you can usually find some other people to go in your group and split the cost. They usually charge for I think 8-10 people, I can't remember. But we had 8 people in our group, so we just divided it by 8 and still saved about $200!
