Thanks for your great review. Wonderful that you got an aft suite upgrade. We have one of the aft balconies (non-suite) in the middle of the 2 suites.

Did you get any direct sun on the balcony? Although it seems that you can see "out to sea" sitting down, I'd prefer that plexiglass rather than metal goes from floor to rail as seems to be the case on regular balcony cabins.

Decided to keep this balcony and not sweat the small stuff as they say, including the food....Bringing plenty of red pepper flakes!

Yes, there was direct sun at times, but with the deeper balcony there is an overhang (the deck behind the buffet is directly above you) and there is often a choice between sun and shade. It all depends on time of day and which way you are heading. Your itinerary is different than ours.
