Celebrity Cruises Reveals New Hot Glass Programming

It's wonderful to see that Celebrity gave this contract to a local South Florida glass art company.

Their approach to the glass show experience will be different from Corning's.

I look forward to seeing them on the Eclipse.

Will be checking them out in downtown Hollywood before then.

I'm happy to see that hot glass will continue on select S class ships, but disappointed there will only be 1 demonstration show.

The one demo is consistent with the one session classes by the SPA. I'm pleasantly surprised....$40 seems like a reasonable price to try working with molten glass.

Looks like our sailing on March 18 will be the last one from Corning on board the Eclipse.

Looking forward to doing this on the Equinox sailing March 3. Should be fun!

Pity was hoping they were getting rid of this all together. ... just my opinion but I think it's a complete waste of a prime spot on the ships.

I loved the hot glass show on previous cruises. I'm very happy that something similar will begin soon. I do not think it's a waste of space...it's a great way to spend an interesting and informative afternoon on a sea day. Thank you, Celebrity!

I'm very disappointed with the end of partnership between the Corning Museum of Glass and Celebrity. Watching the glass shows on board used to be one of the highlights of our cruises on board Solstice class ships. We'll greatly miss them.

Think it is a waste of space now if there is only going to be 1 demo. You are not going to be able to create a masterpiece in 20 minutes.:(

According to the article, "Hollywood Hot Glass is already onboard Celebrity Equinox; it will be rolled out to Celebrity Eclipse on April 1 and Celebrity Solstice on June 15."

We always enjoyed the Corning Hot Glass shows, sometimes it was the only good entertainment on board Eclipse, now Celebrity want to turn it into another money making stunt
