Possible to trade in Drinks on Us for 12 drink vouchers?

We booked the Fantastica category so we could get the 12 drink vouchers but they've now changed it to the Drinks on Us package. We are not big drinkers of alcohol or sodas. My 7 yo daughter doesn't drink sodas or bottled juice either. We would rather use the vouchers for the gelatos and occasional blended drinks. Does anyone know if this is possible? I've tried contacting MSC directly but was put on hold so long that they finally gave me message that they are closed and to try again tomorrow!! Thanks :D

Was it the 12 drink vouchers WHEN you booked? if so, you would still get that. I would guess that you can't trade one for another.

No. It was the Drinks on Us package. When I spoke to the agent they told me we would get the 12 vouchers but they now have the "upgraded" Drinks package which is great if we drink but we don't.

I checked today and they've actually increased the Drinks on Us package cabin to over $1200 /pp on the December sailings. The regular Fantasica prices with the vouchers are only $549. That is so strange. Who would pay that much extra for that drink package when you could get the deluxe one for less?

I guess I'll have to get a hold of an agent to ask about the vouchers.(yn)

I asked about switching that they said we'd have to completely rebook our cruise at double the rate.. We are in the same boat - no sodas or alcohol for us either. We were looking forward to gelato, and may still have it once but not impressed with Drinks on Us for those of us who don't drink.

I was told to try to ask the front desk once we're on board whether it's possible to get the vouchers. I'll let you know if we're successful once we get back. We're leaving on Saturday!!!:D
