You get to see the various aquariums. Not much more to it. Kind of up to you if it's worth it or not. Personally, I don't think you do enough to justify the time spent. But some people are pretty wowed by Atlantis and the aquariums are really cool and big. $49 is not expensive for an excursion and if you went direct to Atlantis, I believe it's $45 so when you factor transportation, the price is fair.

Thank you, I know that's the cheapest tour there. My husband and I ,we walked around then took the water taxi back to the ship last time. This time we're a group of people age from 2 to 72 , some people have never been there so they're just want to see a part of Atlantis. If it's up to me, I would stay on the ship.

Taxi vans are $4pp each way, port to Atlantis. You don't need a tour to get into the casino and shop area, but security will stop you from going further if you haven't bought tickets/wrist bands for the resort/pool areas. Those that want to visit the aquarium can buy tickets onsite, to the left of the main entrance/taxi drop off area.. The aquarium is relatively small, nothing compared to other aquariums I've been to. I was thru it all in under 30 minutes.
