What happened to the dining packages?

Recommended Posts

We are booked on Allure of the Seas on Nov. 18 this year. I was on cruise planner looking at the different drink and dining options and was disappointed that they were not offering any dining packages. They listed the price of each restaurant for one night but didn't offer the 3 night, 4 night, 5 night or Ultimate Dining package. Do you think this is glitch in their system or are they going away from these packages?

They don’t offer them on holiday sailings.(Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years)

For our anthem cruise last year, the dining packages didn't open up until maybe 3 months before the cruise. I was told they may not offer it, but about 90 days out, they appeared.

Holiday sailings Chops will surpass $79PP this year (planned) so forget about being offered packages. NYE looking at triple digit pricing.

Unreal but I know people will pay it. They are certainly willing to over pay on land as well. I must be getting old I hate dining out on holidays mostly because of the crowds a poor service on those days.
