Hi - would the couple we are traveling with be able to join us at dinner in the club class dining room? Thanks.

No. Only passengers that are in full suites or Club Class minis can dine in the Club Class section. If you wish to dine together you would have to join them in regular anytime dining.

The food is not 'different' - it's the same MDR menu, with the addition of 1 or 2 special items each meal. It could be a special pasta or salad prepared at a station in the center of the dining room, or a special entre/dessert done in the kitchen. There are specials at breakfast and lunch also - we had some exceptional blueberry pancakes one morning. The real benefit is no wait for a table (though there have been a few exceptions discussed here), tables spaced a little further apart for less noise and more privacy, higher staff to passenger ratio, just a much more relaxed and pleasing experience. We also found the staff to be better trained and the Head Waiter visited with each table every evening to check on everything. The other benefit is the prime cabin location.

The main difference with Anytime Dining is that you can go whenever you want, but you can, if you want, have the same wait staff for your cruise. I have found the wait staff to be excellent in CC dining also. So basically CC dining gives you the best of today's traditional dining AND anytime dining. It feels, to me, like traditional dining of old, but you don't have to go early! We usually go around 6-6:30 and never had waited yet.
