Swimming with the Pigs available from GSC

Adults are $109.00 and children are $89.00.

I just added it to my reservations, when I called it in the shore excursion department said we do not have that, I said check again because it’s showing in my NCL and I was a pig in s... when I saw it.

Swimming with/interacting with pigs seem to be all the rage in the Bahamas these days :-).

Given that the excursion is only an hour and a half long, I take it this is still on GSC property?

I don’t think so by the wording (Exuma is the most well known pig island but it doesn’t say where this goes to)

Guest will be greeted by warm friendly staff at information where they can check in or purchase the tour. After doing so guest will take a short walk to eb and flow dock where captains will escort guest via boats along a scenic route to pig tour location. Upon reaching pig tour island guest will receive an indepth saftey briefing about the pig tours do's and donts. The first order of events is the "Pig Show!" this is a comedy introduction of the pigs with music. After the pig show guest can now feed, interact, and take photos with the pigs. Guest also have the option of relaxing on our observation deck while enjoying panoramic views with cold refreshing beverages.

What sailing are you on? I looked today and it’s not coming up as a listed excursion on myncl?? I’m sailing 11/3 on the Gem.

Probably will make the roast suckling pig on the buffet a little less appealing...

Not for me, I think I will feed them apples, I always liked applesauce with my pork chops :p

Save your money and just go in the Pool after the lunchtime buffet frenzy has finished!!

Oh my gosh; that’s a dream of mine! Looks like we may have to venture over to the dark side (NCL [emoji38]) sometime! Certainly easier and cheaper than flying to Exuma. Thank you for sharing!

Ahhh..okay, a friend is also sailing in April and was able to book. Maybe it’s new for 2019..I’m going to call the shore excursion desk tomorrow to find out.

Our daughter did this excursion in Exuma last year. And that video is exactly the way she described it:-) In her words...Never Again!

I just checked out that link, the only problem is you are actually buying a day pass to the Sandy Toes resort and they say, specifically, that’s it weather permitting. If you don’t get to actually swim with the pigs for any reason, you won’t be refunded any money.

True, but there is a 24 hour cancellation policy so you can check the weather.

I have swam with the dolphins a few times but honestly I found swimming with the sea lions a lot more fun. The dolphins follow the trainers commands to a T and will not do anything else but with the sea lions If they want to play ball with you they will just throw the ball at you, they were a lot more interactive & playful

Now if they did a swim with the mermaids I might be up for that. Topless mermaids $100 extra, tight?
