Pre-cruise Hotel Near Port Canaveral

I am looking at Residence Inn and Country Inn and Suites. Are they comparable? Anyone stayed at either recently?

Yes, though the Residence Inn is designed for long-term stays and your room will have, at the very least, a 2 burner range, a full-size fridge, and other things.

I really liked my stay there and would happily go back. The RI has a small bar, a nicer breakfast and, IIRC some evening light meals/snacks a couple nights a week, though generally not on weekends.

Are you seeing a big difference in nightly rates? If not then I agree that the RI offers a bit more. And it is a slight bit closer to nearby restaurants when walking.
