Berth in Los Angeles

Does anyone know which dock Viking uses in Los Angeles - San Pedro World Cruise Centre by the Seaside Motorway Bridge or Long Beach.

The only ship that has been there so far is the Sun, for the start of Viking's first World Cruise. I don't know that any other ship has been there since and Viking ships will not be returning to the Americas until the fall.

Thanks for the replies.

Wow, berth 46 is a new one for me. Been in San Pedro way too many times and always at the inner or outer berth at the cruise terminal. Also seen Carnival ships over in Long Beach by the QM. However, never seen cruise ships out by the breakwater.

Right at the breakwater. The Pilot did not have to work very hard as we were at sea in minutes. Lots of fireworks for the sendoff.

Fireworks for Viking's first Wold Cruise. Right?

Jim, could that be the reason that you were docked so far out, so that they could do the fireworks and maybe for future cruises they will be at one of the more usual cruise terminals?? I guess we won't know until the end of the year when the Star is scheduled for a Miami to LA run.
