Medicare Elite

Medicare has a new Advantage plan called Elite for 2018. Has anyone looked into it for out of country medical coverage? It says it covers out of country (with some co-pays) but I am still trying to read the fine print. Just wondering if anyone else out there has looked into it. It's new this year.

Actually, any Medicare add-on plans are through some private health group. Medicare itself doesn't have such add ons.

My Medigap has $50,000 lifetime benefit. We use GeoBlue for out of country health coverage.

Off topic, sorry - GeoBlue do you have buy it within a certain time of deposit, or do you just buy it (annual plan) when you want your one year to start?

I bought ours about 2weeks before our first trip (annual policy).
