Independence December review, any questions?

Here is my IOS review for anyone interested. We were on the cruise after the outbreak. The review is pretty thorough, but no pics. We did not have the internet package or drink package. I will be happy to answer any specific questions if needed.

Curious if Dollar had a free shuttle to the cruise terminal.

Normally rooms are ready around 1pm. Do you know why they weren't ready until 5pm?

Maybe the extra cleaning after the Noro event?

Nice review we were on same sailing which we enjoyed very much. Although our children are older (19,22) I know the exact moment in the Grease Show that you are talking about....

Dollar does have a free shuttle to and from the port. We used them after the cruise also. The rooms were not open until 5 due to extra cleaning from Noro on previous cruise. If I remember right we were told to start boarding at 2 pm for a 6 pm departure, but we did not actually leave until almost 7pm. We were not bothered by the late departure at all. We are more port people than ship people, and enjoyed Ft Lauderdale more than we would have enjoyed hanging out at the pool with the hoardes of people.
