Ncl Escape staterooms

Hi there,

First post so I hope this is allowed.

I know some people are interested in finding out information about specific staterooms, especially on the Escape, since it's new.

My last cruise was on the Epic in June and I found it really helpful to have seen photos of the room I was going to be staying in.

So I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where people can ask questions about specific room numbers and anyone can throw in whatever information or photos they can give.

That would be awesome!!! I'm booked on the Escape but I have 2 staterooms on hold. A inside and a balcony. The inside was at a price I couldn't pass up because it was with a group space and comes with extra on board credit as well as the 2 free amenities with NCL...however...after youtube I'm a little concerned that there will not be enough space for my luggage and anything extra. I'm usually booking balconies but because I'm scheduled for 3 cruises this year I thought for the price I would try a inside. Anybody been in a inside?? I usually take one large suitcase and a small tote for my personal items, like laptop etc..

I hope this thread takes off....good idea.

From the YouTube videos I've seen, the inside cabin looks more spacious than on other ships. Baggage fits unders the bed but I guess it really depends on how many occupants will be in the cabin.

We are booked in cabin 15230 on Escape. I know it's a bed by the balcony stateroom but what I want to know is if the balcony is a bump out giving a little extra space or not. Or I can wait until we sail and be surprised if no one responds. We are very excited to set sail!

Looking at the deck plans, I'd say it's probably a bump out.

BALCONY ROOM 10114 - Sofa by the Balcony.

We booked a Balcony GTY and we loved our room. The location is a little far from the elevators but not a problem for us. The balcony is a lot bigger than our balcony on the Breakaway.

Two huge bags were able to fit under the bed. A lot of storage space for 2 adults and 1 child.

Thank you! We are in 10132 & I bet it will be similar for space, but bed by balcony since our room sleeps 4.

I'm interested in finding out more about cabin 15760 specifically, or the spa mini suites, generally. I'm really interested in whether the ship's movement is extremely noticeable on that deck and whether the pool deck above is extremely noisy. We really want a spa mini suite but we also like our quiet as well.

Would love to see pics of Escape's forward ocean view cabin 14100 and around the corner inside cabin 14401.....we are normally balcony cruisers, but DH has always wanted that front facing forward cabin and kids love the inside, so off we go! LOL

If you have any pics, thanks!! :D

Look up at the top of the page. There is already a cabin information thread that is stickied there. That sounds like what you are looking for.

Understood, However, there is only 1 post on that stickie for the Escape and that was for an H2 Penthouse Suite. I'm hoping this new thread brings some attention to those who have sailed more recently on the Escape.

Happy Sailing!

Has anyone stayed in 15822 on The Escape? Is the bed by the balcony or closet? Is there any way to find out?

Thanks

As I understand it - if mini suite sleeps 4 the configuration is bed by balcony since the Pullman is between the bathroom and closet.

Insides generally work best if the beds are bottom end facing the main room door and separated into singles so you have a clear space from door to headboard and easily accessible underbed storage space for cases. Escape is no different in this respect. Given the ship caters for short 7 day cruises there is ample room in an inside providing you split the beds.

Thanks in advance for any pics

Can't Wait Feb 20

Ill be on your sailing!! We have a balcony room, but would really prefer the sofa to be by the balcony. I'm not sure why, but I feel like these are bigger. (I know they aren't, but that's how they feel to me)

Anybody know about 11852??

Looking forward to being there....either way!
