Return from Christiansted

Thanks for the information about getting to Christiansted from the ship in Fredericksted. I’m hoping for comments about the reliability of finding a taxi/shuttle for the return to the ship. Thanks

I would make arrangements with whoever you ride with for the return trip. If not, you should be able to find a taxivan on Company street.

I don’t know when you are/were going but we went in Nov and getting from Fredericksted to Christensted and return is really simple.  Once you come straight out the gates there are several vans and a booth that you pay $16 round trip per person they drop you in Christensted and told us the first van left from that spot at 1130.  There was another representative that remained there if we had any questions and kept track of who went back first.  They made it pretty easy.  Best of luck.

We did the $16 RT ticket as mentioned above too.  When we got back from our snorkeling tour there were taxis waiting right by the dock and someone filling them as we got off the boat.  It was very easy.

Are any of the taxis wheelchair accessible with a ramp or lift?

I'm sorry, I didn't notice if there were or not.  Maybe contacting a private tour operator would give you some choices?

Yeah there's a few, you'll probably want to make advanced arrangements by calling the taxi association.
