we are arriving on a cruise ship next February and if we cannot find a snorkelling tour our second choice will be a really high quality Beach Resort with a lovely beach and swimming.

If anyone has any suggestions and also info on how to get there from the Tender drop off in Nathong we would be really grateful.

Many thanks

Kr

Here's my response a few days ago to a similar question-

Koh Samui - on the two occasions we visited the island we got a taxi at the port (for 6 - we joined with four others from our roll call) and went to the Imperial Boat House Hotel for a relaxing day on the beach. There is a fee of 500 baht ($15) pp but it includes towels, loungers and umbrellas on the beach and by the pool, changing/shower facilities, wifi, and a simple lunch from the bar menu and a drink. A short distance down the quiet beach are beach bars and Thai massage. The taxi picked us up at a pre-arranged time. We didn't pay the driver on the way out to ensure they would be there for the return. Both drivers were lovely and spoke good English.

The resort does have a spa for massages but I went to the ladies on the beach - very cheap for a full body massage, but boy are they strong!!

All together two fantastic days - check out their website, we were last there November 2016.

Hello Omega1

Just realised I had not replied to thank you for your suggestion. We have now contacted a company called Samui Island Explorer and they have been so helpful and have put together an amazing tour for us with a bit of siteseeing and some beach time.

Thoroughly recommend them if anyone else is reading this who is looking for a land tour or a snorkel trip.

Again - thanks Omega1.
