Joining end of Grand voyage vs world tour?

I’m looking at transatlantic, east to west, cruises. I do not want to be last segment on a world cruise. I’ve decided that. How about on a grand voyage? I’ve been on one (unknowingly) at the beginning. It made no difference. But I’m looking at end. We like a friendly open atmosphere that we are used to on Regent (we are Gold so not new).

We were on the last segment of a Grand Voyage about ten years ago. It was Rome to Dubai to Capetown to Rio to Miami, I believe. We did Rio to Miami, and it made no difference Yes, we met some of the longer-term cruisers, but at no time did we feel excluded.
