Question for those who have been to Yas Marina Circuit

Can you take purses, backpacks, camera bags into the race? I know you can't bring food or drink in.

I posted on here because Celebrity does a cruise to Abu Dhabi including the race! Lots of people have previously taken in the race while on the cruise.

Actually the advice to contact the race organizers is spot on.

Cruise Critic being the kind of site it is, with anonymous posters who might not have even been to this place, you could get all kinds of erroneous advice. With few posters who might have ever been to the race site to correct the errors, you would be left with advice that is not only not helpful but might be downright wrong.

Moving the question to one of the more appropriate boards increases your chances for an accurate answer, but going directly to the race organizers is probably best of all.
