Hello everyone. We are travelling to the Caribbean on Britannia this December. This is only our 2nd cruise. We were wondering how easy it is to get to Grand Anse beach independently. I understand it is near to the cruise port. How easy is it to get a taxi? Will a taxi be safe and how much does it cost?

When you come off the ship where it docks, walk through the duty free shopping complex turn left and follow the crowd to the water ferry which will take you over to Grand Anse Beach. You purchase a day return ticket about $8 which allows you to travel back and forth as many times as you like. Or alternatively once through the duty free complex you can get a taxi which will take you round to the Grand Anse Beach. Yes it is safe whichever way you choose to trave. It's a lovely little boat ride over to the beach Enjoy.
