Are the tv's upgraded on the Caribbean to the flat screens on the wall? Or are they still on the shelf? Thank you in advance.

In balcony cabins there is a 42 inch flat screen on the shelf. It's a little large for the shelf so it hangs over some. Entire ship was retrofitted in January 2018. I don't know regarding other cabins, but expect they were placed where the old TV's were, as that is where the connecting cables are.

Since we know that CB is rolling out the Medallion as we speak, and has fully activated the On Demand television, surely it could have been concluded that the TVs are modern networkable screens and not the ancient squat little CRT sets that were out of date technology when brand new in 2004 when CB was launched.

Has anyone even seen an old set recently on any Princess ship?

Don't think they are referring to the CRT's.

They are referring to the computer type 22inch ish View Sonics that were on top of the shelf above the fridge that were installed after the CRT's and before the new larger flat screens.
