We are joining Azura on the 7th February 2014. We have been allocated a Thomas Cook flight from Manchester. Could anyone confirm iff this will be the Airbus 330-200. Thanks

Hi! We are on that flight too and it usually is! I noticed that since last time we flew with them (Feb 2012) the free drinks have disappeared! Cost cutting again! I used to think that it wasn't a bad flight really until I flew Virgin Atlantic to LA this May - afraid doesn't come near the experience we had on that flight - really excellent! Still all in all its not too bad - shall miss the free drinks tho - not that I had loads but it was just a nice touch!

Hi We do the Caribbean every year and pay that little extra to upgrade the flights. We then get the complementary drinks which we enjoy and friendly smiling cabin crew. Why not spoil yourself it is only money !! Afterall you are going to one of the most beautiful places in the world go on spoil yourself.

If you have the flight number and departure airport Google will tell you the plane type.

TC use Airbus A330-200A330-300 and

Boeing 767-300 for its long haul work

Give me a Boeing any day over an Airbus. Hated working on them. They fly slightly nose up and they are very dry.

All aircraft fly slightly nose up. They are trimmed that way for efficiency.

Thomson are using 787s on Barbados flights this winter, but probably not cruise charters.

Yes they all fly slightly nose up, but not like the Airbus. It was awful.

Premium seats a good choice because it is cramped in the back

If it is Thomson Airways you will probably fly on a First Choice 767

We have just got back from Abu Dhabi flying Etihad, they use the same plane as TC from Manchester but the configuration on Etihad is 2 4 2 and was not very generous with seat pitch so TC will be cramped as they squeeze 9 across.
